Our band, My Version of It, was lucky enough to play on “The Hot Spot” with J Rock on Comcast 73 last night. Living in Sussex County and being subjected to Mediacom cable, I actually hadn’t seen the program until last week. It’s actually pretty cool. The show is a live public access call-in program featuring comedian J Rock, with guests, comedy and topics. Not unlike a talk radio program in a way. J sets up a topic, a “did you see” or “did you ever notice” and he solicits phone calls from the audience. I’m not sure what his audinence number is, but he seems to get a lot of phone calls and everyone I’ve talked to about his show knew who he was. Plain and simple though, his show is funny. Very funny, actually. Very irreverant, dirty and fun and J takes no guff from anyone, callers or guests. Check out videos J has on his myspace
